Job summary

Garver’s College Station Water Design Center seeks a Sr. Process Mechanical Engineer to lead projects for water and wastewater facilities, pump stations, and related infrastructure.

You will guide design calculations, hydraulic modeling, facility layouts, and equipment selections, coordinating with vendors and regulators. Qualified candidates bring a PE license and 10+ years of experience in water/wastewater design, with strong leadership and cross-disciplinary teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, chemical, mechanical, or biosystems/agricultural engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• PE licensure required or in process.
• Experience with hydraulic modeling software such as Visual Hydraulics.
• Experience working with a diverse disciplinary team including civil, structural, building mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines.
• 10+ years of direct experience designing water/wastewater facilities, lift stations, and booster pump stations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a project team producing designs for water and wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, lift stations, and related infrastructure.
• Engage in design calculations, hydraulic modeling, facility layouts, and equipment selections.
• Coordinate with vendors and regulatory agencies; perform quality reviews.
• Oversee development of construction drawings and 3D models; support during construction.
