B&B Concrete in Austin, TX seeks an experienced Water/Wastewater Estimator to pursue and plan water infrastructure projects, develop accurate estimates, and partner with operations from bid through handoff. You will evaluate scope, constructability, risk, and cost—not just perform takeoffs.

Formación

Experience estimating water/wastewater construction projects.
Experience with self-performed structural concrete and heavy civil work.
Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and contracts.
Strong quantity takeoff, cost analysis, and scope review skills.
Familiarity with HCSS, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and OST is preferred.

Responsabilidades

Develop estimates for water and wastewater facilities, pump stations, and related infrastructure.
Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing for self-performed labor, materials, and equipment.
Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals and ensure scope coverage.
Evaluate phasing, staging, logistics, constructability, and sequencing.
Develop preliminary schedules to support estimating efforts.
Identify risks, value-engineering ideas, and cost-saving strategies.
Participate in bid reviews with operations and project management.
Prepare detailed budgets and lead handoffs to the project team.
Support subcontractor and supplier buyout following award.
