Job summary

Town of Davie seeks a technical supervisor to oversee daily operations and maintenance of a water/wastewater facility. You will guide and train treatment plant personnel, monitor performance data, and report to the Chief Operator.

You will ensure safe, compliant operations, supervise mechanical and electrical repair work, and help prepare regulatory reports while maintaining records and inventory for chemicals and treated water.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 3–5 years treatment plant experience, with 2 years in mechanical/electrical repair.
• At least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance, repair and operation of water/wastewater systems.
• Provide training and guidance to treatment plant personnel.
• Interpret operating data and implement procedural changes as needed.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and generate regulatory reports.
• Maintain accurate records of plant operation, maintenance and laboratory data.
• Coordinate inventory management of chemicals and treated water.
