Penske Logistics is seeking warehouse associates for a fast-paced facility in Tracy, CA. You will lead daily operations, stage and move goods, and support supervisors to meet productivity goals while emphasizing safety and teamwork.

Eligible candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and familiarity with warehouse software; forklift certification is a plus. Benefits include insurance options, 401K, PTO, and a boot allowance after 90 days.

• Perform quality control checks and identify damaged products.

• Maintain inventory records, logs, and production documentation.
• Communicate effectively with team members across shifts.

Position Summary:

Penske Logistics is looking for warehouse associates to become part of an excellent team. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are safety conscious and have a pleasant, outgoing attitude who want to excel in a warehouse environment. Provides support and some supervision to regular and temporary warehouse associate functions. Works closely with Operations Supervisors to ensure employee productivity expectations are met. Provides a variety of responsibilities to meet the supervisors expectations.

Note- this is a Cold Storage facility: 28° F to 55° F

Major Responsibilities

• Lead and support daily warehouse operations and assigned associates
• Stage, sort, load, and unload products and trailers

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, EPJs, and other material-handling equipment as applicable
• Support inventory management and material control activities
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Prior forklift certification preferred
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred
• Ability to learn and use proprietary warehouse software
• Leadership experience is a plus
• Strong customer service, communication, organization, and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Ability to work in warehouse environments, including climate-controlled, refrigerated, and non-climate-controlled conditions as applicable
• Regular, predictable attendance required
• Must successfully complete Penske employment process, including background check and drug screening

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, sitting, reaching, lifting, and handling materials
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. (23 kg) and occasionally up to 100 lbs. (45 kg)
• Ability to see, hear, understand, and communicate effectively in a warehouse environment
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced operational setting
