Job Description
Position Overview

Miami Christmas Lights (MCL) is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Lead Warehouse Technician to oversee daily warehouse operations, inventory management, and décor production. This role plays a critical part in ensuring all materials, equipment, and seasonal décor are organized, maintained, and ready for deployment.

The ideal candidate will lead by example, support team efficiency, and maintain a safe, productive workspace while collaborating closely with installation and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations & Inventory Management

  • Oversee receiving, labeling, storage, and organization of inventory and supplies
  • Maintain accurate stock levels and monitor discrepancies
  • Execute and supervise pick, pack, and ship processes
  • Learn and manage inventory systems (Zoho Inventory preferred)
  • Lead and assist in décor production, light repair, and refurbishment
  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment readiness and quality standards
  • Perform and oversee maintenance schedules for warehouse equipment
  • Manage and support warehouse technicians to ensure efficiency and consistency
  • Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide coaching
  • Lead by example to maintain a productive and accountable team environment

Safety & Organization

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized warehouse
  • Enforce safety protocols and prevent workplace accidents
  • Conduct weekly inspections and maintain reports

Data & Reporting

  • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly warehouse reports
  • Track key performance metrics and analyze trends for improvement

Field Support

  • Coordinate with installation teams to ensure timely material readiness
  • Support field operations with logistics and supply deliveries
  • Perform quality control inspections to meet company standards
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of warehouse experience
  • Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials ( 50+ lbs )
  • Ability to climb a 25 ft ladder
  • Basic carpentry and electrical knowledge required
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, seasonal environment
  • Reliable, proactive, and team-oriented mindset
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with inventory management systems (Zoho Inventory a plus)
  • Background in production, assembly, or repair work
  • Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
