Job summary

Chick-fil-A Supply is seeking a Lead Warehouse Team Member, Inventory Auditor, to resolve variances and discrepancies at the Cleveland, OH distribution center. You will be highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to inventory control in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include conducting audits, quarantining damaged items, maintaining slot integrity, supporting SOPs, and collaborating with Supervisors to roll out new processes.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent.
• 2 years of warehouse experience.
• Deep understanding of all operational flows in the warehouse.
• Thorough knowledge of systemic documentation and configuration.
• English reading, writing and speaking at functional level.

Responsibilities

• Ensure inventory accuracy through audits, cycle counts and control techniques.
• Identify, quarantine and report damaged or recalled product.
• Maintain slot integrity and assist in locating correct locations.
• Assist in development and enforcement of SOPs and policies.
• Support root cause analysis for inventory discrepancies.
• Operate in cold/hot environments and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Collaborate with Supervisors to implement new processes.

As the Lead Warehouse Team Member, Inventory Auditor, you will resolve inventory variances and discrepancies for incoming as well as existing products that arise during the day-to-day operations at the Chick-fil-A Supply Distribution Center in Cleveland OH. Responsibilities

Inventory Control:

• Ensure inventory accuracy through the completion of effective control techniques including internal audits, cycle and audit counts
• Identify, quarantine, and report damaged or supplier recalled/withdrawn product to assure it is accurately captured and removed from inventory
• Ensure pick availability by responding to and finding a solution for any issue with a location error, product attributes, or location attributes
• Ensure the appropriate handling, removal, disposal, and processing of damaged or expired product
• Maintain warehouse slot integrity and responsible for slotting new or seasonal items
• Assist in the development of localized policies and procedures as related to the control of inventory
• Work with team members to reinforce the importance of inventory accuracy
• Assist with root cause analysis and offer solutions related to inventory inaccuracies

• Partners with Supervisors to roll out and train new processes and initiatives as needed
• Recertifies experienced team members on systems, equipment, functions, safety and procedures
• Participates in the development and revision of SOP’s and Job Instructions to ensure consistency, efficiency and safety
• Ensures all training documents, materials and processes adhere to company SOP’s and policies
• Assists in developing, documenting and delivering safety programs and initiatives
• Participates in and lends process expertise toward Gemba walks, Kaizen events and other process improvement initiatives as assigned
• Capable of contributing in all outbound activities as needed, including picking, replenishment, loading, etc.

• Ability to understand and communicate job-related information in English(reading, writing, and speaking) at the level reasonably necessary to safely and accurately perform the essential functions of the role, including, for example, understanding and safely following verbal instructions, completing documentation and work responsibilities, and accurately reading and interpreting company communications and policies like safety procedures, training, and tests
