Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Hagerstown, MD is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead to manage daily warehouse activities on the third shift, with a weekly payroll cycle and a $500 sign-on bonus payable in two installments. The role emphasizes safety, process improvement, and team leadership in a fast-moving distribution environment.

Responsibilities include leading operations, coordinating tasks, and mentoring team members while ensuring accurate handling of computers and related equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• 1+ year experience as Team Lead preferred.
• 1+ year Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) preferred.
• 1+ year warehouse experience preferred.
• RF scanner experience required/advanced preferred.
• Valid forklift operator's license certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
• Bilingual (Québec locations) (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Lead and ensure continuous improvement for operational efficiency.
• Perform warehouse tasks including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Allocate resources and distribute daily work to ensure optimal shift operations.
• Inspire team toward improved KPI performance using appropriate leadership styles.
• Provide orientation and tools to employees to perform their jobs.
• Promote health and safety methods within the warehouse.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Submit daily reports and propose action plans to enhance operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
