Job summary

UPS is seeking a supervising role over Package Handlers to train, develop, and hold workgroups responsible for safety, production and attendance. The role sets high standards for productivity, accuracy and customer service, while fostering effective inter-departmental relationships.

The position emphasizes leadership, safety, and continuous improvement within a permanent, full-time structure. Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent is preferred, with management experience encouraged.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 70 lbs/32 kgs.
• Flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred
• Management experience - Preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed; OSHA compliance.
• Manage department resources for output, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment and proactive communication.
• Implement personal development plans for staff.
• Provide training and evaluations for staff.
• Maintain adherence to safety policies at all times.
