Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise all warehouse activities including receiving, storing, and distributing recyclable materials.
• Supervise a small team of hourly staff, assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure efficient completion.
• Work with management to plan operations, balancing oversight with hands-on work when needed.
• Implement safety programs, conduct safety meetings, and ensure compliance with sustainability policies and regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse, ensuring proper handling of materials and equipment.
• Ensure inventory accuracy for dry goods and recyclables; resolve discrepancies with production control teams.
• Track materials, including overages and dead stock, and propose process improvements.
• Oversee lift truck and battery operations and communicate issues to supervisors and maintenance.
• Coordinate with logistics to ensure smooth material flow and timely deliveries.
• Serve as liaison between management, warehouse staff, and other departments.
• Develop and maintain training programs for warehouse personnel on safety and procedures.
