Job summary

Manhattan Beer and Beverage Distributors is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate movement of product in our New York facility. Qualifications

• 3–5 years of warehouse supervisory experience, preferably in beverage distribution.
• Experience supervising unionized employees strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics best practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, order selection, replenishment, loading, and shipping.
• Direct, motivate, and monitor union employees while ensuring adherence to the collective bargaining agreement (CBA).
• Coordinate labor assignments and scheduling to meet operational requirements.
• Ensure accuracy of orders through proper checking, staging, and load-out procedures.
• Partner with the Logistics and Delivery teams to ensure timely and complete fulfillment of customer orders.
• Monitor inventory levels, report discrepancies, and assist with cycle counts and audits.
• Enforce safety and sanitation standards to maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant warehouse.
• Train and coach staff on best practices, productivity, and safety procedures.
