Nebraska Furniture Mart, Inc. in The Colony, TX is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor II for the Distribution Prep on 1st shift (4:00am-1:00pm). The role coordinates with staff to order, receive, store, inventory, issue, display and ship products, and supervises warehouse and/or sales floor operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year supervisory or management experience.
• 2 years' warehouse experience.
• Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record preferred.
• PC skills including Word, Excel, Power Point and Access preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor: Understand workload priorities and direct movement of all products to meet customer needs.
• Manage: Coach, train, hire and support staff. Provide regular feedback and recognition. Hold staff accountable for fulfilling their key responsibilities and goals satisfactorily.
• Plan: Develop agendas, conduct monthly staff meetings, control expenses/turnover and meet goals.
• Punctuality: Apply the attendance policy to scheduled training events just as it is applied to regular work schedules.
• Safety: Ensure machines/equipment are properly utilized and immediately correct inappropriate operating behaviors.
• Teamwork: Perform duties of supervised staff to assist in meeting deadlines and/or to fill in when short staffed.
