Job summary

GPS Jobs hires a Lead Warehouse Supervisor for a top U.S. manufacturer in Early Branch, SC. Competitive hourly pay ranges from $20 to $21, with second, third, and training shifts available.

Temp-to-hire, benefits after hire include Medical Insurance, Life Insurance, 401(k), PTO and sick leave. You will lead daily operations and develop the warehouse team. Requirements include 3–5 years of warehouse experience, leadership history, WMS/ERP and RF scanning familiarity, and ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of warehouse experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Previous leadership or team lead experience preferred.
• Experience with WMS, ERP systems, and RF scanners.
• Knowledge of receiving, inventory control, picking, and shipping processes.
• Forklift certification and/or operating experience.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Flexible to work overtime, weekends, and alternate shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, inventory, and shipping.
• Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse team members while monitoring productivity and attendance.
• Ensure accurate receiving, storage, inventory transactions, order picking, and shipment prep.
• Verify incoming/outgoing materials, investigate discrepancies, maintain inventory accuracy.
• Assign daily work, communicate shift priorities, and support scheduling.
• Train employees on warehouse procedures, equipment operation, and safety practices.
• Collaborate with Receiving, Shipping, Inventory Control, Purchasing, and Operations to ensure efficiency.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce errors.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and ensure proper use of equipment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and safety standards.

What You Will Do

What Is Required

• Knowledge of receiving, inventory control, picking, and shipping processes
• Forklift certification and/or operating experience
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
• Ability tolift upto 50 lbs. and stand or walk for extended periods
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and alternate shifts as needed
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented with a strong work ethic
