Job summary

The State of Wyoming's Department of Revenue - Liquor Division is seeking a Warehouse Lead Worker to act as a player-coach, guiding a small team to receive, store, pick and ship special orders accurately and safely.

You will train new staff, monitor productivity with the Warehouse Management System (WMS), and coordinate with Purchasing to resolve processes and issues, ensuring proper freight paperwork and inventory control.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-4 years of progressive work experience in Purchasing or Inventory, at Shipping and Receiving Clerk I level.
• Forklift certification required within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the special orders area.
• Lead a team of 2 to 4 special order personnel.
• Report productivity levels and issues to supervisors and manager.
• Use WMS to oversee incoming special products and track workload in spreadsheets.
• Assist with receiving, picking, and shipping of special orders.
• Coordinate with Purchasing on processes and issues.
• Ensure freight paperwork is complete and submitted to Accounting or Purchasing.
• Train new staff in receiving and shipping of special orders.
• Maintain safety and security of the facility.
• Perform inventory cycle counts and assist with label issues.
