Job summary

Brunswick Corporation in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Warehouse Lead to join the team on a Sunday-Thursday 12:00 pm–8:30 pm shift. The role involves leading picker/packer personnel, coordinating shipping/receiving, and ensuring orderly dock areas.

Starting pay is $22.00 per hour with comprehensive benefits. The position requires forklift certification or willingness to obtain it, and prior warehouse experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge typically obtained with a high school or equivalent diploma.
• Must have dependable attendance and be a team player.
• Prior forklift certification or willing to become forklift certified.
• Basic computer skills helpful.
• Prior warehouse experience a plus!

Responsibilities

• Lead picker/packer staff to ship orders by deadlines.
• Communicate daily with Shipping Supervisors about concerns and questions.
• Print orders and sort by priority zones.
• Train and lead employees on picking/packing procedures.
• Delegate work to shipping staff and ensure dock/receiving areas are organized and clean.
• Research pick errors and address issues with Shipping Supervisor.
• Coordinate work across picking, packing, ship station, and running orders.
• Oversee dock personnel offloading trucks and organize P.O.’s.
• Maintain Receiving Log and ensure procedures are followed.
• Assist with maintaining zero stock issues and ensure safe operations.
