Job summary

OnTrac in Desoto, Texas is seeking a Warehouse Package Lead to supervise offloading, loading and sorting of packages. You will train new hires, support key metrics, and work with Area and Operations Managers to uphold safety and efficiency.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of industry experience, and 1 year of leadership experience preferred. Shift is 3:30 PM–12:30 AM, Sundays to Wednesdays; expect lifting up to 150 lbs with a pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols and dock procedures.
• Train and guide Package Handlers, providing hands-on demonstrations and ongoing feedback.
• Oversee packaging handling, sorting, and inspection to ensure accuracy and prevent damage.
• Monitor equipment functionality and submit maintenance requests as needed.
• Check in/out third-party drivers and ensure proper documentation and manifest accuracy.
