Job summary

CEVA Logistics is seeking a warehouse team lead in Houston, TX to operate a clean, efficient facility and drive safety and productivity. You will supervise staff, perform forklift duties, and coordinate inbound and outbound materials while delivering great service to customers.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED; typically 5+ years warehousing/logistics experience.
Forklift Certification typically required within 3 to 6 months of hire; valid driver’s license preferred.
Ability to operate hand and power tools and warehouse software; forklift capable when required.
Strong training and guidance skills; able to prioritize work and lead staff in a team.

Responsibilities

Develop and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times.
Lead staff, provide work direction, train employees, and assign tasks.
Perform forklift operations, including handling heavy/oversized items.
Coordinate receipt, storage, and distribution of materials within the area.
Operate hand tools for crates and containers; handle packaging as needed.
Prepare forms, labels, and docs to ensure inventory accuracy and successful deliveries.
Oversee warehouse maintenance; identify issues and assist with resolution.
Prepare and assemble orders; pick, count, move, and load materials.
