Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking an Operations Supervisor in the United States to lead and grow a frontline team across our warehouses. The role emphasizes coaching, safety, and operational excellence to drive overall performance within a large, global contract logistics provider.

Responsibilities include upholding health and safety standards, monitoring KPIs, and reporting insights to management while fostering open communication among leadership and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferred.
• 1+ years operations experience in a lead/supervisor/management role, preferred.
• 1+ years logistics industry experience, preferred.
• Staff management, workload planning, objective setting and organizational skills, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a diverse team of frontline associates by providing coaching, guidance, and support as needed, while also developing a strong team culture of inclusion and belonging.
• Take proactive measures to consistently uphold compliance with health and safety regulations, fostering a culture of heightened safety awareness throughout the organization.
• Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to track performance and identify areas of improvement. Provide regular reports and analysis to management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations for enhancing warehouse operations.
• Foster an environment of open communication and collaboration, facilitating regular and effective dialogue among leadership and associates to promote transparency, alignment, and teamwork.
