Job summary

DSV, a global leader in transport and logistics, seeks a Warehouse Clerk, Lead for the 2nd shift in Wichita. Responsible for receiving, inspecting, handling and documenting inventory, and ensuring accurate warehouse transactions in the WMS.

The role runs Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM–9:30 PM, with a base pay of $21.91 per hour. DSV offers equal opportunity employment; benefits vary by location and division.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a warehouse environment is preferred.
• Ability to verify part numbers and quantities accurately.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with team to maintain a clean, organized and efficient warehouse.
• Assist in prepping parts for receipt and picking parts to fulfill orders.
• Conduct inventory cycle counts to ensure accuracy of records.
• Manage the dock area as a Dock Hand, coordinating loading/unloading of shipments.
• Adhere to safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Verify part numbers and quantities of incoming inventory against documentation.
• Inspect parts for damage, segregate damaged items as required.
• Safely pack parts to prevent damage during storage and transport.
