Job summary

Safelite Group, Inc. in Lakeland, FL is seeking a Warehouse Lead Associate to direct daily workflows and mentor teammates. You will manage safety protocols, run material handling equipment, and coordinate training for operational excellence.

Applicants must be 18+, possess a valid driver’s license, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds; the role includes a 3rd shift with premium pay and comprehensive benefits, including 401(k) matching and PTO.

Qualifications

Excellent people, leadership, and communication skills.
Experience operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including order pickers, forklift, and reach trucks.
To safely operate the order picker you will need to weigh under 300 lbs.
Strength to perform physical tasks weighing up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

Coordinates the workflow of daily operational activities, communicates daily work plan and assignments.
Proactively identifies risks and hazards and develops action plans to ensure safe working conditions.
Responsible for comprehensive accident and incident reporting.
Coaches associates on operational best practices, proper equipment use, glass-handling methods, and safety procedures.
May perform inbound or outbound activities when not actively training including operating MHE such as forklifts, order pickers or reach trucks.
Adhere to all safety and PPE requirements.
Maintain a secure and clean work area by performing housekeeping duties.
Fulfill other duties as assigned.
