Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee, Inc. is seeking a Lead Warehouse Associate in Nashville for hands-on loading and unloading responsibilities in the Cockrill Bend warehouse.

You will supervise and assist with material handling, inventory upkeep, and safe operation of tow motors and pallet jacks. Forklift certification is required, and the role demands reliability and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and carry 75 pounds continuously.
• Able to read and perform basic math.
• Able to follow verbal instructions and work as a team.
• Must learn techniques from short demonstrations within a month.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials for plant operations using tow motor.
• Ensure proper stacking, wrapping, and banding on skids for safe transport.
• Operate tow motor and pallet jack safely and efficiently.
• Inspect incoming freight for quantity and quality and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Weekly cleaning of tow motor and radiator area.
• Provide dock support as directed by management.
• Coordinate seasonal material storage with Warehouse Manager or Production Director.
• Assist manager with program plans for workers with disabilities.
• Maintain current warehouse inventory and accurate records.
• Follow all company policies and legal requirements consistently.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and regular attendance.

## Lead Warehouse AssociateApply: Nashville, TN: Full time: Posted Today: 18336**Job Location**Cockrill Bend- Warehouse**Job Summary:**The Lead Warehouse Associate will provide timely, efficient loading and unloading services for the departments.**Job Description****Essential Functions*** Loading and unloading all materials for plant operation that requires the use of the tow motor.* Checking the proper stacking, wrapping, and banding of any materials on skids to ensure its safe transportation.* Ensuring safe operation of tow motor and pallet jack.* Checking incoming freight for quantity, quality, and ensuring that regulations are met.* Inspecting engine oil level and other fluid levels daily to ensure proper engine performance.
