Job summary

Raymour & Flanigan in New York's Middle Village is seeking a Warehouse Associate responsible for offloading and loading furniture, operating material handling equipment, and maintaining safe work practices. The role requires lifting heavy items and occasional leadership of a small team.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, experience with order pickers, pallet jacks, and warehouse management systems, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Offload and load furniture on trailers, into bins, and within floor locations.
• Becoming certified in material handling equipment (order picker, electric pallet jack).
• Work independently or lead a small team as needed by management.
• Demonstrate excellent listening skills in daily operations.
• Adhere to Raymour & Flanigan safety policies and procedures.
• Perform additional functions as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements

• Lift, lower, push, and pull all sizes of furniture up to and in excess of 200 lbs.
• Safely lift furniture merchandise while elevated on warehouse equipment at heights of 30-40 feet above the ground.
