Job summary

LKQ Corporation is seeking an experienced warehouse supervisor to oversee daily team assignments and coordinate material handling at our facility in Georgia. You will lead loading/unloading, staging, and cycle counts while coaching staff to maintain safety and productivity.

The role requires 5+ years in warehousing, High School diploma or GED, and forklift certification preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; strong Microsoft Office skills are expected.

Apply now and take the first step toward a rewarding career!Responsible for completion of daily team warehouse assignments, providing support/assistance to supervisors, coaching team members, and acting as a liaison between supervisors and staff for efficient delivery of information.Essential Job DutiesAssist with scheduling and overseeing daily assignments to ensure quality control and maximum productivity of team members assigned.Lead and assist in the storage and handling of production material that has been received or needs to be shipped.Coordinate and oversee the daily cycle counts of production materials.Observe, enforce, and coach workers to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations to ensure a safe and hazard-free workplace.Train others.Analyze or resolve work problems, or assist workers in solving work problems.Establish or adjust work procedures to meet deadlines.Supervise all warehouse activities, i.e., truck loading/unloading, moving bin locations, bin maintenance, and restocking.Perform warehouse activities to include parts pulling, staging, and loading/stocking of trucks.Verify in-stock position on product for sales staff as well as assist in monitoring inventory levels.Assumes other duties as assigned.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesLead the work of others who perform essentially the same work. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs.Frequent use of Outlook, Word, Excel, graphics, etc. Ability to create, maintain, and incorporate functions into Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, databases, and PowerPoint presentations to support business objectives.Regularly uses moderately complex oral and written skills. Must be able to work in cramped spaces or underneath vehicles that may require getting into awkward positions. May regularly wear personal protective equipment (PPE). May be exposed to extreme temperatures and high noise levels.Travel may be required periodically, including overnight stays (contingent on position requirements).The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
