Texas Health Resources in Mansfield, TX seeks a Lead Behavioral Health Therapist (Virtual Reality) to oversee the VR program within the Addiction Recovery Center. You will ensure safe, evidence-based VR sessions aligned with clinical workflows and patient treatment plans.

The role requires a Master's in Counseling or Social Work, pertinent licensure, and 1 year of healthcare counseling experience, with 4 years preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling or Social Work required.
• Minimum 1 year of healthcare-related Counseling or Social Work experience.
• Prefer 4 years of healthcare-related Counseling or Social Work experience.
• LMSW, LCSW, LPC or LMFT licensure upon hire.
• BCLS, CPI, and AHAFA certifications maintained annually.

Responsibilities

• Lead the VR program with accountability for implementation and outcomes.
• Ensure VR sessions follow clinical workflows and safety standards.
• Serve as primary point of contact for VR inquiries and staff support.
• Analyze VR utilization and outcomes to identify trends and opportunities.
• Train and mentor staff on VR technology and clinical applications.
• Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy per treatment plan.
• Collaborate with leadership to expand VR offerings based on patient needs.
• Maintain VR equipment, software, and documentation for readiness and compliance.
• Respond to staffing issues in collaboration with leadership.
