Job summary

CDS Visuals in Fort Mill, SC, is seeking a Lead Editor to own the post production book for multiple clients. This role covers end-to-end editing, from raw footage to client-ready deliverables, across long-form and social cut-downs, with a strong emphasis on motion graphics and templates.

You will report to the Head of Post Production and manage a small team of sub-editors, steering projects from start to finish while ensuring quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years editing professionally with client work reel.
• Excellent fluency in Premiere Pro and After Effects; capable of building/modying motion graphics templates.
• Basic photo editing in Lightroom; handling stills without a photographer.
• Proven ability to craft a story from unscripted interview footage.
• Strong audio, color correction, and delivery across formats.

Responsibilities

• Cut brand films, jobsite content, testimonials, and tradeshow clips for a client book.
• Build and maintain custom branded motion graphics layers in After Effects.
• Manage full post pipeline: ingest, color, audio cleanup, captions, delivery for all formats.
• Scope, brief, review, and own final approval for client deliveries.
• Coordinate with sub-editors and communicate clearly with clients and team.
