Job summary

UrgentVet is seeking an experienced Veterinary Practice Manager to lead our Spartanburg clinic, overseeing daily operations and after-hours acute care delivery.

The role focuses on building a positive culture, staff development, and financial stability while partnering with veterinarians to ensure compassionate, efficient care for pets.

This is a full-time, on-site position requiring 40–45 hours per week with some evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Veterinary practice management experience preferred.
• Experience leading teams and coordinating clinical and administrative staff.
• Ability to partner with veterinarians and support staff.
• Strong understanding of workflow optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the UrgentVet Spartanburg location.
• Oversee after-hours acute care delivery and staff scheduling.
• Foster a positive, inclusive work culture and drive engagement.
• Build relationships with referring veterinarians and local partners.
• Monitor financial performance and ensure operational efficiency.
