Qualifications

• Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT).
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program.

Responsibilities

• Actively promote hospital services and preventative care to clients.
• Route flow of clients and pets to ensure superior client care and productivity.
• Provide professional, efficient service and educate clients about pet health.
• Perform veterinary technician appointments under supervision of veterinarian where allowed by state law.
• Assist clients with documentation, pet information, and scheduling and issuing invoices.

Education

Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT)

AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree)
