Job summary

Veterinary Specialty Center of Seattle is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to lead our Specialty Department teams in a busy, 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital in Lynnwood, WA.

The Specialty Department Manager will oversee technicians, assistants and coordinators across Surgery, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Diagnostic Imaging, Medical Oncology and Cardiology, driving staffing, scheduling and high standards of care. Schedule flexibility is required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician with 4+ years of specialty medicine experience.
• Strong leadership and team coaching abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all Specialty technical staff across Surgery, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Diagnostic Imaging, Medical Oncology and Cardiology.
• Staffing, scheduling, workflow optimization and performance management of specialty teams.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership to maintain high-quality patient care and staff engagement.
