Alpine Animal Clinic in Montana is seeking an experienced Lead Veterinary Technician to balance hands-on patient care with team leadership. You will mentor technicians, coordinate workflows, and serve as a clinical resource to ensure high-quality medicine and client communication.

Responsibilities include anesthesia induction, monitoring, surgery assistance, dental care, radiography, medical records, and training staff.

Qualifications

• Active and good-standing MT VT license.
• Minimum 2+ years veterinary technician experience.
• Leadership or team lead experience preferred.
• Proficiency in anesthesia, dental procedures, radiography, and venipuncture.
• Strong communication and client education skills.

Responsibilities

• Support efficient exam, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows.
• Perform anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery.
• Assist in surgery and dental procedures including prophylaxis and radiography.
• Maintain medical records and communicate treatment plans and discharge instructions.
• Delegate tasks and coordinate workflow to support patient care.
• Provide training and mentorship to technicians and assistants.
• Monitor operations to uphold safety and standards.
• Build strong relationships with clients and foster a collaborative team culture.
