Lake City Animal Hospital is seeking a Full-Time Lead Veterinary Technician or Lead Veterinary Assistant to support veterinarians in a busy, multi‑doctor practice. The role includes restraining animals during exams, stocking rooms, sterilizing instruments, and monitoring anesthesia, with patient care and client education central to daily duties.

Ideal candidates will have prior veterinary experience, strong customer service, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

• Experience in veterinary or animal hospital customer service.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Willingness to work on-site and collaborate with a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians in patient care and examinations.
• Restrain animals when necessary and stock rooms with supplies.
• Sterilize tools, monitor anesthesia and radiography as needed.
• Maintain equipment and update patient files; communicate with clients.
