Job summary

Falls Road Veterinary Hospital in Potomac, MD is joining Thrive Pet Healthcare as a full-time Lead Veterinary Technician. You’ll lead on shift, provide hands-on patient care, outpatient treatments, and run lab tests to support veterinarians.

You will coordinate daily workflows, mentor staff, and collaborate with hospital leadership to ensure a smooth patient experience and outstanding care across the clinic.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care).
• Active CVT/RVT/LVT credentials strongly preferred.
• 2 years of supervisory/leadership experience preferred in a veterinary clinic setting.
• Strong anesthesia skills including BP, ECG, SpO2, and EtCO2 integration to assist doctors.

Responsibilities

• Lead resource on shift, oversee patient care, outpatient treatments and lab testing.
• Coordinate daily workflows and support team members.
• Partner with hospital leadership to ensure smooth patient experience.
