Alliance Animal in Roanoke, VA is seeking a licensed veterinary technician with 3+ years of experience for a working supervisory role. You will lead the technician and assistant medical team under the guidance of the Practice Manager, directing on-the-job training and overseeing performance plans.
You will perform on-floor duties such as animal restraint, triage, lab work, imaging, anesthesia, and dental procedures while ensuring high-quality patient care and client communication.

This person will be responsible for:
The other portion of this job includes working on the floor with the team completing veterinary technician duties, which includes (but is not limited to): animal restraint, triage of incoming patients, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnostic imaging, management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability, administration of medications, effective communication of treatment plans with clients, surgical preparation and assistance, anesthetic management, and dental prophylaxis procedures.

Pay range: $24 - $30/hr. depending on level of experience
