You will mentor associates, uphold AAHA-level medicine, and drive hospital performance while maintaining clinical practice. A focus on growth, mentorship, and community engagement underpins this opportunity.

Qualifications

• DVM degree and a valid state license in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of practical clinical experience.
• Servant leadership mentality and collaborative mindset.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Understanding of hospital financial and operating management.
• Proficiency in MS Office/Outlook or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the DVM team, conducting regular performance discussions and goals.
• Model medical excellence in care, client service, and efficiency while practicing as an associate veterinarian.
• Partner with Practice Manager to develop operating plans and ensure financial performance.
• Foster growth through monthly doctor meetings, externship supervision, and recruitment efforts.
• Act as an ambassador for the hospital and Mission Pet Health in the community.
