Job summary

Buffalo Veterinary Group seeks a Board-Certified or Residency-Trained Veterinary Criticalist to join its progressive team at Green Acres Veterinary Center in Buffalo, NY. The ideal candidate will lead the ICU, oversee the ER/CC department, and develop treatment plans for critically ill patients.

Qualifications

• DVM degree and licensure to practice veterinary medicine in New York.
• Board certification or residency training in an applicable specialty is required or in progress.
• Leadership and experience in emergency/critical care settings is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced critical care to ICU patients.
• Oversee the emergency and critical care department.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for critically ill patients.
• Collaborate with veterinary specialists and support staff.
• Mentor and train interns, residents, and technicians.
• Stay current with advancements in emergency and critical care.
