Job summary

Buffalo Veterinary Group seeks a Board-Certified or Residency-Trained Veterinary Criticalist to join its progressive team at Green Acres Veterinary Center in Buffalo, NY. The ideal candidate will lead the ICU, oversee the ER/CC department, and develop treatment plans for critically ill patients.

Qualifications

  • DVM degree and licensure to practice veterinary medicine in New York.
  • Board certification or residency training in an applicable specialty is required or in progress.
  • Leadership and experience in emergency/critical care settings is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the emergency and critical care department.

Key Responsibilities
  • · Provide advanced critical care to patients inthe ICU

Compensation
  • Startingsalary $250,000-350,000 (negotiable based on experience and credentials)plus bonus opportunity. Additional relocation assistance available

Requirements
  • Doctorof Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
  • Licensureto practice veterinary medicine in the state of New York (or abletoapply)
  • Boardcertification or nearing completion of residency program in applicablespecialty area
