Job summary

The Schwarzman Animal Medical Center (AMC) in New York City seeks a Staff Criticalist to join our Emergency & Critical Care (ECC) Department. AMC operates 24/7 with a large team of specialists and support staff in a state-of-the-art facility.

The successful candidate will practice outstanding veterinary medicine, mentor residents, and contribute to clinical research in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. May include daytime and swing shifts in a 140+ veterinarian academic hospital.

Qualifications

• Board-certified specialists in ECC are part of the team.
• Experience in inpatient management and emergency care is desirable.
• Interest in teaching and clinical research is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient care in a busy ECC department.
• Oversee daytime and swing oversight of interns and residents.
• Collaborate with other services for comprehensive patient management.
