Hometown Veterinary Partners is seeking a Lead Veterinarian for our new Spencer, MA location. You will lead clinical operations, mentor doctors and staff, and shape hospital culture to deliver exceptional animal care.

You will mentor associates, guide medical protocols, and collaborate with hospital leadership to build a high-performing team. This role offers leadership growth and a clear path to partnership within a growing network.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree required and state licensure (or ability to obtain) in MA.
• 3+ years of clinical veterinary experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and collaboration mindset.

Responsibilities

• Establish a positive, collaborative culture in a brand-new hospital.
• Lead medical operations and mentor associate veterinarians and support staff.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and the local community.
• Perform exams, surgeries, and manage a variety of small animal cases.
• Contribute to development and review of hospital medical policies and protocols.
• Partner with operations leaders to drive team performance and hospital success.
