Job summary

Care Animal Hospital in Brandon, FL seeks a Lead Veterinarian to serve as medical leader and guide the hospital team toward outstanding patient care.

You’ll collaborate with the clinical team and leadership, mentor staff through our LevelUp program, oversee a diverse caseload, including surgeries, and uphold licensure and hospital permits while advancing medical quality and community relationships.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited college.
• Active license in good standing to practice in the target state.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clinical team and leadership.
• Assist Practice Manager with staffing and scheduling.
• Grow relationships within the practice and community.
• Support LevelUp training for staff development.
• Manage a varied caseload including surgeries and appointments.
• Oversee medical care of all patients.
• Serve as veterinarian of record for permits and licenses.
• Partner with hospital leadership to ensure medical quality.
