Qualifications

• Must hold or be eligible for a DVM/VMD degree.
• Must have Minnesota veterinary licensure or eligibility.
• Experience practicing small animal medicine is required.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills are essential.
• Collaborative and approachable leadership style is important.
• Interest in mentoring fellow veterinarians is encouraged.
• Commitment to high-quality medicine and an excellent client experience.
• Leadership experience is preferred, but candidates ready to step into leadership are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality medical, surgical, and preventive care to small animal patients.
• Serve as clinical leader and resource for the veterinary team.
• Mentor and support associate veterinarians in their professional and clinical development.
• Promote communication and collaboration between doctors, support staff, and leadership.
• Help establish and maintain high standards of medical care and consistency.
• Support doctor engagement, retention, and hospital culture.
• Partner with leadership on hospital goals, workflow, and staffing.
• Encourage continuing education and thoughtful adoption of new medical techniques.
• Create an environment where team members feel respected and empowered to succeed.
