Job summary

GoodVets is seeking a Lead Veterinarian who will dedicate 85% of their time to veterinary duties and 15% to leadership responsibilities. You will oversee clinical quality, schedule, and staff development in a growing network of locally owned animal hospitals.

You will partner with the VP of Operations on budgeting, staffing, and hospital productivity, lead morning rounds, mentor associates, and uphold GoodVets culture while delivering exceptional client and patient care.

Qualifications

• Lead veterinarian duties on clinical cases while guiding others.
• Ability to manage budgeting, staffing, and hospital productivity.
• Mentor Associate Veterinarians through coaching and case discussions.
• Deliver high-quality, patient- and client-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee medical operating procedures and guidelines.
• Create and maintain the Clinic Doctor Schedule.
• Lead daily rounds and monthly doctor/staff meetings.
• Partner with Operations on client experience and KPI reviews.
• Recruitment support for doctors and staff.
• Represent GoodVets in the veterinary community.
