Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Environmental regulations familiarity is a plus.
• Vocational training or US Coast Guard License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engine room daily operations.
• Plan routine maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure safety procedures adherence.
• Maintain accurate records of activities.

Skills

3+ years of experience with electronic engines (CAT, GE or EMD 710)

Strong communication skills

Ability to work independently

Proficiency in operating and maintaining diesel engines

Strong knowledge of safety regulations

Physical fitness for demanding tasks

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Tools

Designated Duty Engineer certification
