Job summary

Watson Building Group, LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead ground-up vertical construction from preconstruction through closeout. The role requires hands-on leadership of multidisciplinary teams, coordination with owners, design teams, and subcontractors, and a focus on schedule, cost control, and safety.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, 5+ years of managing complex concrete-heavy projects, proficiency with Procore,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience managing ground-up vertical construction projects.
• Proficiency with project management software and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and deliver ground-up vertical construction projects safely, on schedule, within budget and quality standards.
• Lead and coordinate all phases of construction including preconstruction planning, buyout, scheduling, execution and closeout.
• Develop and manage master project schedules, look-ahead schedules and recovery plans as needed.
• Coordinate superintendents, project engineers, field staff, and subcontractors for proper sequencing and productivity.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, contract compliance, and performance.
• Serve as primary contact for owners, architects, engineers, and consultants.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to schedule, cost, quality, and safety.
