Job summary

Rocket Lab in Maryland is seeking a Vehicle Integration Technician I to join the Neutron program. You will install avionic and mechanical components, wiring harnesses, and high voltage batteries on Neutron launch vehicles, working hands-on with tools to assemble, test, and verify assemblies.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to meet production schedules and ensure strict workmanship standards through precise crimping, soldering, and harness termination.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience in assembly and testing in fluids, avionics, vehicle components, and systems.

Responsibilities

• Install avionic and mechanical components, wiring harnesses, and high voltage batteries on Neutron launch vehicles.
• Work hands-on with tools and facilities to build, launch, or test Rocket Lab vehicles or components.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to meet production and launch schedules.
• Maintain high precision in assembly tasks including crimping, soldering, and harness termination.
• Conduct inspections to ensure workmanship standards are met.
• Assist in setting up local 5S work centers.
• Manage multiple tasks and pivot to high-priority projects.
