Job summary

Harley-Davidson Motor Company’s Product Development Center in Wisconsin is seeking a Vehicle Integration Lead Engineer to drive full-vehicle design integration across functions. You will own the Vehicle Virtual Assembly and govern integration guidelines to ensure compliant, well-engineered motorcycle designs.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering, 8+ years of relevant experience, and strong CAD/PLM proficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
Minimum 8 years of engineering experience.
Automotive/powersports experience preferred.
Proficiency with 3D CAD and PLM systems (Creo/Parametric, CreoView).

Responsibilities

Drive vehicle architecture and integration across engineering functions to align design intent and system interactions.
Own the Vehicle Virtual Assembly (VA) and ensure it remains the single source of truth for design intent.
Maintain VA governance including tolerances, regulatory dimensions, and budget; ensure alignment with BOM and weight data.
Lead cross-system integration across chassis, powertrain, electrical, bodywork, thermal, NVH, and human factors.
Validate vehicle compliance with regulatory requirements and support Design for Compliance documentation.
Collaborate with vehicle leads, system architects, and design engineers to optimize part design and system interactions.
