Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital in Georgia is seeking a qualified Vascular Sonographer to join the Vascular Lab. You will coordinate daily activities, supervise ultrasound exams, and ensure adherence to IAC standards across adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Requires BCLS, ARDMS RVT or RVS certification, registry ultrasound training, and at least 5 years in hospital or outpatient vascular imaging. Join a team focused on safe patient care and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of registry approved ultrasound program or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of experience in a hospital inpatient, outpatient, or ambulatory setting as a vascular sonographer (preferred).
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) upon hire; RVT or RVS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Daily coordination of the vascular staff activities and technical supervision, including maintaining IAC standards.
• Provide team management of the Vascular Lab.
• Perform complex ultrasound exams for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients while ensuring patient safety and flow.

Responsibilities

Daily coordination of the activities of the vascular staff, technical supervision including maintaining current technical requirements of Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC), comprehensive patient care and safety. Work with the manager or supervisor to provide team management of the Vascular Lab. Able to provide complex technical care with the use of ultrasound technology for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Monitors patient care delivery and facilitates patient flow.

• Graduate of registry approved ultrasound program or equivalent experience according to Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) Required

Work Experience

• Must meet requirements of highest leveled Vascular Sonography Technologist at the assigned entity Required
• 5 years of experience in a hospital inpatient, outpatient, or ambulatory setting as a vascular sonographer Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• BCLS - Basic Life Support Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) Upon Hire Required and
• Registered as one of the following:
• RVT - Registered Vascular Technologist Vascular Technologist (RVT) through American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) Upon Hire Required or
• RVS - Registered Vascular Sonographer Registered Vascular Sonographers (RVS) through the Cardiovascular Credential International (CCI) Upon Hire Required
