Job summary

Piedmont Heart Institute Physicians in Atlanta, GA seeks a vascular technologist to perform vascular ultrasound exams and noninvasive tests for evidence of peripheral vascular disease. The role requires 3 years of progressive work experience in vascular services, and RVT or RVS certification upon hire.

Experience with arterial, venous, abdominal, visceral, intracranial and extracranial vascular assessments is preferred.

Qualifications

• Certificate of Completion from an accredited Ultrasound Program is required.
• 3 years of progressive work experience in vascular services is required.
• RVT or RVS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical exams for evidence of peripheral vascular disease.
• Performs noninvasive testing for evidence of peripheral vascular disease including arterial, venous, abdominal, visceral, intracranial and extracranial cerebral vascular disease and prepares preliminary interpretation of test results.
