Job summary

Piedmont Heart is seeking a Board-Certified Vascular Surgeon to lead the vascular surgery program at Piedmont Newton. The role focuses on developing and expanding vascular services, increasing program volume, and strengthening our regional presence as a premier destination for advanced cardiovascular care.

The ideal candidate will provide high‑volume vascular care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and drive quality and innovation within an established heart and vascular program.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certification in Vascular Surgery.
• Eligibility for or current unrestricted Georgia medical license.
• Demonstrated expertise in open and endovascular vascular procedures.
• Commitment to quality outcomes, patient satisfaction, and program growth.
• Strong leadership and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Vascular Surgery program at Piedmont Newton.
• Grow vascular and endovascular service lines and strengthen regional market presence.
• Provide comprehensive vascular surgical care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Collaborate with cardiovascular specialists, interventionalists, and referring physicians to deliver coordinated patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support outcome-driven patient care strategies.
• Work within the Heart Institute to build a system-wide vascular network.
• Contribute to program development, physician education, and community outreach initiatives.
