Job summary

Piedmont Heart is seeking a Board-Certified Vascular Surgeon to serve as the clinical leader of the Vascular Surgery program at Piedmont Newton. The successful candidate will develop and expand vascular services, increase program volume, and enhance regional presence as a destination for advanced cardiovascular care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• 5+ years of experience in vascular surgery.
• Board Certification in Vascular Surgery.
• Eligibility for or current Georgia medical license.
• Expertise in open and endovascular vascular procedures.
• Commitment to quality outcomes and program growth.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
• Desire to lead a developing program within a mature heart and vascular program.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Vascular Surgery program at Piedmont Newton.
• Grow vascular and endovascular service lines and strengthen regional market presence between Rockdale and Newton.
• Provide comprehensive vascular surgical care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Collaborate with cardiovascular specialists, interventionalists, and referring physicians.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support outcome-driven care strategies.
• Work closely with the Heart Institute to build a system-wide vascular network.
• Contribute to program development, physician education, and community outreach initiatives
