Job summary

Goodrich Area Schools is seeking a Head Varsity Boys Lacrosse Coach to lead our lacrosse program and conduct structured practices in alignment with the Athletic Department policies.

The ideal candidate will bring high school coaching experience, ability to work with other coaches and communicate effectively with students, parents and staff while promoting sportsmanship and school spirit.

Qualifications

• Previous high school lacrosse coaching experience preferred.
• Ability to work with other coaches and receive direction from the Athletic Director.
• Relate well to high school students, parents, school personnel and the general public.
• Knowledgeable of MHSAA rules and regulations.
• Strive to boost school spirit and promote good sportsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Teach techniques and fundamentals of lacrosse.
• Demonstrate all skills necessary for the sport.
• Be knowledgeable about the rules and regulations of lacrosse.
• Assume responsibility for constant care of equipment and facilities used.
• Conduct structured practices following Athletic Department guidelines.
• Be an example of good character and sportsmanship to the team.
• Assist the Athletic Director as needed.
