Job summary

Buffalo Public Schools seeks a Varsity Boys Indoor Track Coach for PS 304 Hutchinson Central Technical High School for the 2026-2027 school year. The coach will develop game strategies and techniques to ready student athletes for competition, and work under the Athletics Director and Building Principal.

Responsibilities include organizing practices, managing equipment, coordinating with administrators, and ensuring compliance with NYSPHSAA regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in organized Track-Indoor at various levels preferred.
• Must have effective coaching techniques and knowledge of rules, strategies and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to NFHS Coaches Code of Ethics.
• Be available for contests and practices at start of season, including weekdays and some holidays.
• Supervise equipment, uniforms, and supplies; submit roster updates as needed.
• Establish positive relationships with coaches, athletes, parents, and community members.
• Attend meetings and conduct try-outs and selection procedures as prescribed by District rules.
