Job summary

Daniel Boone Area School District in Berks County seeks a Head Coach for its athletic teams to lead practices, manage schedules, and coordinate transportation and equipment. You will work closely with the Athletic Director to implement policies and encourage good sportsmanship.

The position requires demonstrated coaching knowledge, ability to work with students, CPR certification, and preferred PA certification in a related subject. Appointment is annually reviewed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge and competence in the sport(s) involved.
• Coaching experience in the sport(s) involved preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with students.
• Pennsylvania certification in a related subject or special area preferred.
• CPR certification must be maintained up to date.

Responsibilities

• Team equipment and supplies management.
• Team transportation and scheduling.
• Team practices and competitions.
• Program development and school-community relations.
• Consult with Athletic Director on athletic procedures.
